  • NOTICE: On July 29, 2017, Equifax discovered that criminals exploited a U.S. website application vulnerability to gain access to certain files; potentially impacting approximately 143 million U.S. consumers. Upon discovery, Equifax acted immediately to stop the intrusion. The company promptly engaged a leading, independent cybersecurity firm which has been conducting a comprehensive forensic review to determine the scope of the intrusion, including the specific data impacted. Equifax also reported the criminal access to law enforcement and continues to work with authorities. Based on the company’s investigation, the unauthorized access occurred from mid-May through July 2017.

    Steps consumers should immediately take
    • To determine if your personal information may have been impacted and for steps to protect your information, please visit www.equifaxsecurity2017.com.
    • Equifax has established a dedicated call center at 866-447-7559 to assist consumers. The call center is open every day (including weekends) from 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

    Kmart (Sears Holding Company) recently confirmed a security breach in their payment data systems and have reason to believe that certain debit card numbers used at Kmart stores between September 3, 2016 to April 30, 2017 may have been compromised.

    Keeping our systems secure and protecting our members' information is important to Community First Guam FCU. If we discover that your account has been compromised, we will contact you immediately. To avoid any fraud exposure from this incident, Community First will begin issuing new cards to members who used their debit cards at this retailer during the specified breach period.

    We recommend monitoring your recent transactions and account statements and immediately report any suspicious activity to 671-472-8210 or emailus@communityfirstfcu.com.
  • Community First ATM cards, credit, and debit cards are enabled with enhanced security features and as a result some countries may be pre-blocked. This is to protect your account from fraudulent activity.  If you travel or plan to travel please send us an email or give us a call so that we may ensure uninterrupted delivery of your card services.
